In order to determine the mathematical knowledge and skills of children in primary school age, it is important to monitor the level of mastery of the curriculum. For this purpose, teachers use various individual assignments and tests, included in collections (books of problems) and reference books. Sample tests for determining the entry and exit levels of students for each year have been developed for the new textbooks, exercise books and teacher’s books. Individual assignments conducted after studying a section of the curriculum were also included. It is important to track and analyze the presence of individual assignments in existing mathematics textbooks, as well as the included problems. It is also required some attention to be paid to how and what knowledge and skills a certain individual assignment tests, whether it was developed for two groups and how the evaluation of the results of mathematics education for the respective year is carried out.
