Abstract

The most common working practice in the visual field today is through different stages of discussing and reating a project, usually illustrated by other visual references. As logical as it may seem at first glance, this practice leads to an endless recreation of already existing and well-known images. Thus, the “creation process” turns into a mere reaffirmation of a copy-paste model. The present article analyzes this practice and the possible causes and results.
